Firing Shotgun Shells Filled with Porcupine Quills

One of the most important avenues of research for the internet gun community is determining what things you can put in a shotgun shell and still have it function “properly.” YouTuber DemolitionRanch has a vast library of previous experiments with stuffed shells packed with everything from Legos to rock salt. The channel’s most recent testing material is a little bit more difficult to procure: porcupine quills.

No, the quills weren’t acquired the painful way. They were actually pulled out of an unfortunate dog’s mouth when it got a little bit too close to one of the spiky critters. How effective will they be in a scattergun? Watch the video below to find out.
