Nominate Archer Brogan Williams as the @KFOR High School Senior Athlete of the Week

Help nominate Brogan Williams as the KFOR High School Senior Athlete of the Week:

Brogan Williams is a 17 year old senior at Stillwater High School, in Stillwater, Oklahoma.  She competes in several disciplines of archery.  She is a member of Payne County 4H Archery, Oklahoma Storm JOAD, ASA, OSAA, NFAA, and USA archery.  She has found a unique love for each different competition.  She started shooting when she was 13yrs old and has been hooked on it ever since.  She is active in BETA club, National Honor Society, church activities and maintains a 4.0 GPA.  She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and riding her horse, Skid Boot, during her free time.  She is the daughter of Daryl and Shawna Williams and has an older brother Gray Williams who is a junior at Oklahoma State University.  She also enjoys spending time hunting turkey and deer with her dad and brother.  She also loves reading, movies and hanging out with her friends.

She sets a variety of goals each year and has been relentless on accomplishing them.  She recently has completed her Level 1 USA Archery Coaching certification and will be member of the 2014 USA Junior Compound Women’s Team competing at several world competitions.  She is consistently ranked in the top 10 nationally in her age division.  She has qualified to compete in the World Indoor Championships in Nimes France in February as the #1 shoot for the 2014 USA jr. Womens Compound Team and represent the USA at that competition.  She will also be competing in the Champions division at the International Vegas Shoot in Las Vegas with many of the Worlds top ranked shooters.  Brogan plans on attending college and continuing her Archery career as a collegiate archer.  She would like to major in some area of psychology since she is very interested in the sport psychology of the archery world as well as applying to other athletes and success in their sports.  Brogan is a very self driven athlete and many times will shoot anywhere from 75-150 arrows a day during her daily practices.  She is a member of the Oklahoma Storm JOAD and coached by Tom and Kathleen Stevenson and Shawna Williams.

Brogan Williams has qualified to represent the USA at the World Indoor Archery Championships in France in 2014 as well as many other international archery shoots. This is an unfunded trip for US archers, so she needs some support to make this trip a reality and bring the gold back to the USA. Please help by financial support here or contacting Brogan, Shawna, or Daryl.Brogan has many up coming shoots both in the United States and abroad and to make her archery dreams come true and share this amazing gift that God has given to her we need your help. Thanks so much for all the prayers, support and assistance that we have gotten from everyone. Thanks!
