Video: Speed Shooter Jerry Miculek Fires Six .44 Magnum Rounds in One Second

Even Jerry Miculek must be happy with the power and speed at which he unloaded a Smith & Wesson 629 into a steel target. Also featured on Jerry’s table is the S&W Model 29, the six-shot revolver made famous by the Dirty Harry films. Clint Eastwood’s claims as the films’ eponymous character were not unfounded, the Model 29 was the most powerful production handgun at the time of its introduction. The revolver is chambered in .44 Magnum and offered any number of barrel lengths. Of course, the ”the most powerful handgun in the world” endorsement from the Dirty Harry films have ensured that the gun was extremely profitable in the sales department.
We doubt Clint Eastwood’s trigger finger is as fast as Miculek’s, though.
