Cheaper than Dirt suspends online gun sales

Breaking news, as of 0930 it was reported to me that Cheaper than Dirt had pulled their online gun sales. When contacted for comment, a representative from Cheaper than Dirt responded with the following statement:

Cheaper Than Dirt! is suspending online sales of firearms effective immediately.

We are reviewing our policy internally, and will continue to be the leader in the outdoor industry with our full line of gear and accessories.

Michael Tenny, CEO

In addition to dropping online sales of firearms, CTD also recently increased prices on the popular PMag model of AR15 magazines from the normal 30 dollars to a whopping price of $59.97 for a single 30 round magazine.

With Cheaper than Dirt abandoning gun owners and pulling out of online firearms sales, the opportunity now exists for a company to step up and fill the void left by their apparent departure from the market.

I’ll continue to follow this story as it develops – in the event that CTD reinstates online firearms sales I’ll bring that news to you as soon as I have it.
